Hi, Wastelanders 🙂
There will be a lull in content for a short time on both the Crumble Bulletin and this here blogorama, starting today. The reason being: Book! “Smack-dab, in the Middle of Nowhere” – a mad post-apocalyptic comedy novel set in the same universe as Crumble – is back from its first-round edits, which means these ‘ere fingeroonies are going to be hard at work crafting a surreal disasterpiece to sit on Amazon’s Kindle.
What can you know about the book so far?
As I mentioned in an earlier post on the Crumble Blog, “Smack-dab, in the Middle of Nowhere” is about a bar (guess where it is) that has to defend itself against gun-toting customers, villainous bandits and, worst of all, tax.
Bert, our protagonist, is a fiery, strong-willed barkeep with a badass metal fist and a low tolerance for bullshit. She’s accompanied by a cast of weird characters, ranging from hulking great giants to heroes like the Crumble Bulletin’s Issue #1 antagonist (except a heroic protagonist, in Smack’s case).
As developments arise, I’ll keep you posted. Otherwise, make sure you jump on my Facebook or Twitter pages to keep in touch and up to date, and stay tuned to the Crumble Blog for more post-apocalyptic goodness coming your way soon.
Duncan, out.
